MOUNA is a collective, self-managed initiative for emerging art. It aims to be an independent platform that showcases and promotes the work of artists and creators from various fields.
Started in 2023, the project’s main objective has been to organize exhibitions and events as the culmination of collaborative efforts. The collective, currently composed of multiple artists, manages, creates, and documents these exhibitions, generates multidisciplinary artistic production, and carries out activities related to curatorial practice.
It is an open space in constant transformation that integrates disciplines such as philosophy, poetry, music, and the visual arts. With an approach that emphasizes diversity, MOUNA organizes calls for submissions and projects that seek to provide critical and reflective experiences centered on artistic expression.
As a member of the collective, my involvement with MOUNA has ranged from pre-production to installation and the exhibition of certain works. Since each edition features a different curatorial approach, I’ve had the opportunity to contribute to each gallery through my own style and technique, allowing me to offer a little of my perspective to various artists.
MOUNA is an experience that encourages every independent artist to have a space where they can showcase their work. A space that is open to any technique becoming relevant alongside the others.
