Sixty years ago, El Tizoncito introduced the world to tacos al pastor. A Mexican icon that has become part of our country's cultural and culinary heritage.

The first dish you show foreigners, the craving you share with friends at any time of day. We're not just talking about tacos; we're talking about national identity.

Inspired by dishes like shawarma and adapted with local flavors, El Tizoncito turned the recipe on its head (literally), using the mythical shape of the Mexican spinning top toy to create a before and after in our national flavors.

Running El Tizoncito’s AON campaign wasn’t just about advertising its menu; it was about bringing the flavor and craving for al pastor tacos into the conversation. On social media, our communication focused primarily on four pillars:

“MOMENTACO”

“TACOS FOR DUMMIES”

“TRENDS”

“CREATION VS CREATION”

We also had the opportunity to do many funny things for the restaurants and some print advertising for the surrounding area.
